Return Policy
Outside of our printers agreement to reprint or refund shirts that have a product-quality issue (defect), we do not accept returns at this time.
Why do you not accept returns?
Every item you order at Scared Tee Cat is printed for you on-demand by hand. Returns cannot be put back on our warehouse shelves, as we can’t resell them. If we were to accept returns, we would have to throw them away and we cannot afford to do that.
What is your defect rate?
We have selected the best quality shirts and printer for our designs.
Our printer has printed over 5 million jobs in their 20+ years in business and currently have a 1% product-quality issue reprint rate. With that said, we are sure that your quality will be high! However, if your shirt is defective upon receipt, please keep reading.
How do we handle reprints of product-quality issue?
Shirts can be reprinted or refunded due to the following product-quality issues:
- Incorrect size, color, product type,
- Incorrect design,
- Misplaced design (if print position is different than advertised),
- Design not properly applied to the product.
If you receive a shirt that has a product-quality issue as described above, our printer should allow a replacement to be printed or refund for you if you have not worn/washed the shirt. The defect must be CLEARLY obvious in a photo taken upon receiving the item (within 30 days of delivery). Refunds are at the printers discretion but should not be an issue if the defect is clear in your photo. Here is the process to report an issue, you will need to follow these steps:
1) Take a CLEAR photo which clearly shows us the product-quality issue.
2) Email us letting us know that you received a defective shirt. Include the following in your email: A description of your issue, clear photo's of the issue, information to identify your order - your name or under number will suffice, and if you are interested in a refund or reprint.
Shirts cannot be reprinted or refunded due to the following reasons:
- Personal taste,
- Product doesn’t fit,
- Unhappiness with color or cut,
- Typos,
- Low design resolution.
Differences in Colors: Monitor vs. T-Shirt
Colors may look different on the printed item than they appear on your monitor. This may be due to different reasons:
- To print pixel designs, we need to render the color scheme from RGB to CMYK and make color corrections if necessary. This may lead to slight color variations.
- Every screen displays colors differently. A combination of brightness, contrast and saturation can change color effects significantly.
- The color of the fabrics has an effect on the print result.
